The Vorderkaseralm lies situated in a wonderful alpine pasture area with breath-taking panoramic views of the surrounding mountains. It can be reached a) along the footpath from the village of Hüttschlag towards the church and then on further along the footpath up to the Vorderkaseralm or b) along the Buchkolm access road approx. 150 m south of the Hüttschlag church, turn off to the left at the barrier approx. 3/4 of an hour.
Hiking destinations: Rosskarkopfscharte (2,185 m), Reitalm (1,612 m), Hubalm Valley
