Saukaralm1,850 m (2 hours)
The Saukaralm is the highest alm in the Grossarl Valley and due to its location and unique view is one of the most beautiful spots in the valley in summer as well as in winter. Due to its unhindered view to the south, north and west sunsets here are particularly impressive. The hut can be reached from the centre of Grossarl along the climb after "Hertas Rast", from the Vorderstadluck farm as well as along the Labenbach/Höllingwaldstrasse access road (parking in front of the barrier
).
New: secured climb on the Saukarkopf (contrusted by the Austrian Alpine Club - Scktion Pongau). Hut evenings with sunset (transport available) on request.
Hiking destinations: Saukarkopf, the surrounding alms.
No overnight accommodation!
Closed on Fridays!
