Niggeltalalm1,507 m (1 - 1 1/2 hours)
The Niggeltalalm lies in one of the game-rich side valleys of the Grossarl Valley and is base for hike on the Höllwand (2,287 m, only with local guide) and on the Heukareck (2,100 m) with fabulous views into the Salzach Valley.
Two routes to the alm:
a) climb up through timber forest from the path fork approx. 500 m after the Gasthof Unterviehhaus, approx. 1 1/2 hours;
b) from ORF (Austrian TV) transmitter next to the Holzlehen farm along the driveway approx. 1 hour. Also suitable as circular walk and in bad weather.
