Aschlreitalm1,785 m (2 hours)
The Aschlreitalm is a popular hiking destination for families with children. A gentle forest path leads at first to the Hirschgrubenalm (1-2 hours, according to choice of route). The you carry on along the unspoilt forest and alpine meadow path to the Aschlreitalm (approx. 1 hour). There you will be spoiled by delicacies from own farm. There are also plenty of playthings to keep the children amused around the hut. Anyone wishing to spend a night in a mountain hut, is in just the right place: there is overnight accommodation available for 10 - 15 persons. After a half an hour's climb you reach the ridge with glorious views of the Keeskogel. From here there is an array of hiking destinations such as the Modereggalm, the Spielkogel, the Hühnerkar circular path and the Keeskogel (only with guide).
